The Man Behind The Blog

It's been a while since I forced let Adam take over the blog for the day, so I figured I'd give him another chance to be in the spotlight.

 Let's get to it, shall we?

M: First of all, how excited are you to be back on the blog?
A: I am so pumped! You just made my year.
{in a sarcastic tone}

M: What home improvement project is highest on your to-do list?
A: The I want to-do list or the i-can-afford-to-do list?
M: Either one.
A: I want to do the basement. I can afford to....uhhhh.... maybe paint one of the rooms
{keep in mind we just painted}
M: What is your idea of the perfect date?
A:That is a toughie... long pause...Well I'd show up with flowers to start, take you out to dinner, then do something different. Walk by the beach, go putt-putting. Basically, just not go to the movies, go do something where we are not just staring at a screen.

M: What do I do when I am home alone?
A: Blog, watch Gossip Girl, and wish I was home.
 {he nailed it!}

M: What do you do when you are home alone?
A: Make an extravagant meal, watch a movie, play video games, or go play fetch with the dog.

M: If you could drink only one beer for the rest of your life, what beer would you choose?
A: Is that really a question.... hmmm.....
{blabbers on about a bunch of different beers}
A: Can we come back to that one?

M: Alright, moving on: If you could have any job, what would it be?
A: Sports Radio Talk Show Host

M: What are your thoughts about Pinterest?
A: It's cool. It's got a lot of cool ideas. I go in spurts if I go on there or not.

M: Have you decided which beer to choose?
A: Oh God, no! That is going to take me a little bit.
M: You do realize this is a hypothetical situation right?
A: Yes, I do.
{long pause}
A: I guess I'll just have to go with Bell's Two-Hearted Ale.

M:Which team is going to be the NCAA tournament champs?
A: Spartans are on fire. And I'm rooting for them. Kentucky is making me too nervous. Arizona and Wisconsin are just going to beat up on each other. BUT, if Tom Izzo can win these next two games, I'd bet the house on them
M: Why are we betting our house?
A:Okay fine, I pick the Spartans.

A: How'd I do? It wasn't as good as last time, huh? These questions were harder.

Well, what do you guys think?
I think Adam would appreciate some comment love.

Also, if you want to read more from Adam, check out the original Man Behind The Blog post from way back in September here.

Have you done a Man Behind The Blog post before?
If not, I highly recommend it!

The Man Behind The Blog

My husband is a huge part of this blog! Although his job is more behind the scenes, Adam is my biggest supporter and go-to builder. Today, I'm giving him a moment in the spotlight to answer some blog-related questions.

So, without further adieu, I would like to introduce you to my husband.

What is the name of my blog?
Your blog is melaniegetsmarried.com, I mean melaniegetsmarried.blogspot.com, but the name is Melanie Gets Married. I know your blog.

What was your first thought when I told you I was going to start a blog?
...long pause... "ahh crap, more craft projects!"

How often do you read my blog?
3-4 times a week

What do I typically write about?
Craft projects, OR recipes.

How much time do I spend blogging in an average week?
 Ha, a lot... I don't know, a couple hours. I thought this was suppose to be a about me?

What do you like to do while I am blogging?
 Play video games or watch football.

What are some of your favorite posts I have written?
Hmmm.... that's a hard one. Anyone where I am mentioned. No don't say that, that's rude. But I know you will put it anyways. Ummm... whenever we gets to build things. I like reading about when we build things.

Any projects you would like to take credit for?
:::Laughs::: Where do I begin? I'm just kidding. I don't think I wouldn't take credit for any of them. I helped you with a lot of them, but I would not take full credit for any of them.

What is your favorite part about being married to a blogger?
The projects. I don't know, the projects add to our house. You do the hard work coming up with the ideas, I just help you execute them.

What is your least favorite part about being married to a blogger?
Starts saying something sappy... and tells me I have to quote him.
Finishes with: I don't think there is one. It's your hobby.

Are you ever going to let me feature you on the blog again?
Always.

Anything else you would like to add?
Are there more questions after this? Add in there adamjskisports.blogspot.com. I got something to say, people need to hear it.

I hope to follow this post up with a few more Man Behind the Blog posts in the future, if Adam will allow it. I hope you enjoyed hearing from him!

TGIF!
