This past week, I shared some new coffee sleeves available in my Etsy shop, as well as my Top 5 Favorite Christmas Projects.

Kendra from Joy in Our Home shared her Laundry Room Reveal with us this week! My favorite is the cubbies with the baskets inside. I am planning to redo my laundry room this winter, and will definitely be looking to her for some inspiration!

Kristi from Making It In The Mountains shared 3 simple ways to make a Cozy Living Room! I couldn't agree more with her, but I would add one more thing: CANDLES. Seeing her cozy living room made me want to curl up on the couch and watch a movie.

Don't forget to grab our button if you've been featured!

Top Five Favorite Christmas Projects

I can finally say it's the holiday season, and I jump for joy just thinking about it! In honor of the most wonderful time of the year, I am sharing some of my favorite Christmas projects I've made in the past!

I got bored with my plain-jane Christmas tree skirt, so I jazzed it up quite a bit last year with some red chevron fabric. It might be my absolute favorite Christmas project yet!

I love this bright red frame and dangling ornaments! I have yet to find the perfect spot for it this year, but this thing looks great no matter where I put it. I just can't bring myself to actually hang it on the front door, which is what I had intended to do when I created it.

This is a perfect of example of recreating a design to save some money. I saw similar trees at the stores a few years back, but couldn't bring myself to pay top dollar for them. I enlisted my handyman husband to help with this project, and love how they turned out! Measurements for how to make your own are even included in the post.

If you've been hanging around here a while, then you already know how I feel about M's. Now a SANTA "M," thats a whole other story! I made this baby last year to hang on the front door and I just can't get enough.

Last year, I was on a mission to replace my burlap rosette heart with something more fitting for the holiday season. This Santa beard and mustache did the trick! I covered a thin board with fabric and hot glued a red felt mustache and beard to it. So simple, yet makes such a statement :)

And that's the end of my top 5 favorite Christmas projects. I hope to be adding some more fun ones to the mix this year, so keep an eye out for them.

In the mean time, I hope I have inspired you to get out your craft supplies and start creating!

Etsy Shop: Crocheted Coffee Sleeves

Well ladies, the holiday season is upon us and I could not be more excited!

When considering putting up my Christmas stuff early, my husband responded with "Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! Can't you just let me enjoy it?!" So unfortunately I have to wait until Friday to put out any of my Christmas decorations. What a grinch, right? (just kidding, I kind of tend to agree with him).

Instead, I will just write this post while watching my neighbors across the street put up their Christmas tree and listening to Christmas music.
Since the hubby's not home, he sure can't get upset. For all he knows I have yet to hear a Christmas song this season. :)

Anyways, since I have to wait until Friday to start anything Christmas related, I figured I'd share some of the new items available in my Etsy shop, in case you were looking for some unique gift ideas.

First up, is my limited time only Crocheted Santa Coffee Sleeve.

Next is another new favorite, my Crocheted Bow Coffee Sleeve.

Last, but certainly not least is an oldie but goodie, my Crocheted Heart Coffee Sleeve.

If you are interested in purchasing any of these items, or just browsing my shop, you can check it out here.

I'm hoping to have a few other crocheted items in my shop for the holidays, so be sure to keep checking back!

Christine shared with us her Thanksgiving Home Tour that had me swooning! With a patio like that, I would spend all morning out there sipping coffee and reading a book (or catching up on my favorite blogs). What a cozy little space to spend a beautiful fall day! Check out the rest of the tour at Little Brags.

I am loving all the wood plank projects I've seen all over lately, so it is no surprise that Kat's "Give Thanks" Turkey Slat Sign caught my attention right away! Head on over to Home.Made.Interest to get the full details on how to make this project!

Fabric Turkey Pillow Cover and a Thanksgiving Blog Hop

When I got invited to be a part of a Thanksgiving Blog Hop by Erin and Emily from Elizabeth Joan Designs, I immediately knew I wanted to attempt to create a turkey pillow! It's one of those projects that's been on my mind for quite some time now, but since I don't usually decorate specifically for Thanksgiving, I've never done it.

The thing I loved most about this project is that it cost me next to nothing to make, and I'm sure that would be the case if any of you wanted to create one as well. The only thing I had to purchase was the Heat N Bond which cost me $2.99.

To make the pillow cover, I used leftover drop cloth from my ruffled curtains I made a while back. You can see my tutorial on how I sewed the pillow cover here

Using many different fabrics, I cut out the pieces of my turkey. Then I took the lazy route and used the Heat N Bond Ultrahold to stick the turkey pieces onto the pillow. I was definitely NOT about to use the sewing machine to sew on all those tiny pieces.  In a matter of minutes, I had a new Thanksgiving inspired turkey pillow for my living room.

He's so stinking cute I can't even handle it.

Next year, I think it would be cool to use the same idea to make a larger version and hang it above my couch to replace my rosette burlap heart. But seriously, isn't he just the cutest little guy?
